Materials:
2˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
1yellow or gold pony bead
2 brown pony beads
4 orange pony beads
4 gray pony beads
8 purple pony beads
10 light green pony beads
43 black pony beads
Black sharpie marker for drawing on eyes.
Special Instructions: Follow
the string path carefully in diagram #1 for making the star points
and belt.
Diagram #2-To attach the star points, pull one
of the strands through the bead marked as #1 and do the same for
the other strand. This diagram shows only the beads that will be
added along with the string path.
With one strand, add on beads #2 &3 and go
through beads #4, 5 & 6. Add on two more black beads and go
through beads #7 & 8. Repeat this process on the other side.
Weave in the usual manner, and add
2 black beads and then add the last black bead.
From there, we will connect the newly added beads. Take both
strands and go down through the middle Yellow bead. Follow the
string path through black beads
(#2&3), black bead (B), and 2 black beads. Repeat on the other
side and knot.
