Materials:

2½  yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
65 gray pony beads
17 rust pony beads*
2 ivory pony beads
Black and red sharpie markers for drawing on eyes.

*Rust color beads can be found at craft stores or Bolek's.

 

Special Instructions:  Pay close attention to the string path when making the 3-D nose and around the neck and arms. 
Feet:  Complete the row consisting of 2 beads (below the row with 3 beads) as usual.  With one strand, add on beads # 1 & 2.  Go back through beads marked 1 & 0.  Next add on beads #3 & 4 and go back through bead #3 and through the row consisting of 3 beads.  Do the same with the other strand.
