Santa Star
Materials:
2 ˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
27 red pony beads
24 white pony beads
16 black pony beads
2 tan or ivory pony beads
1 gold or gold glitter pony bead
Black and red sharpie markers or craft paint pens for drawing on eyes and mouth.
Special Instructions: Follow the string path carefully in the first diagram for making the star points. To attach, pull one of the strands through the bead marked as #1 and do the same for the other strand on the other side. (Diagram 2). Next, add on beads #2 &3 and go through bead #4 & 5. Add on beads #6 & 7. Go back through bead # 6 & 5. Repeat this process on both sides until the two strands meet. Pay close attention to the string path for the beard. Add the extra 2 white beads plus a red. Go back through the two white beads and continue as usual. Then using one stand, weave through each set of 2 beads to attach. Tie a knot where the two strands meet.
